8. Your rights
In this Section 8, we have summarised the rights that you have under data protection law. Some of the rights are complex, and not all of the details have been included in our summaries. Accordingly, you should read the relevant laws and guidance from the regulatory authorities for a full explanation of these rights.
Your principal rights under data protection law are:
  • the right to access;
  • the right to rectification;
  • the right to erasure;
  • the right to restrict processing;
  • the right to object to processing;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to complain to a supervisory authority; and
  • the right to withdraw consent.
You have the right to confirmation as to whether or not we process your personal data and, where we do, access to the personal data, together with certain additional information. That additional information includes details of the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data concerned and the recipients of the personal data. Providing the rights and freedoms of others are not affected, we will supply to you a copy of your personal data. The first copy will be provided free of charge, but additional copies may be subject to a reasonable fee.
You have the right to have any inaccurate personal data about you rectified and, taking into account the purposes of the processing, to have any incomplete personal data about you completed.
In some circumstances you have the right to the erasure of your personal data without undue delay. Those circumstances include: the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed; you withdraw consent to consent-based processing; you object to the processing under certain rules of applicable data protection law; the processing is for direct marketing purposes; and the personal data have been unlawfully processed. However, there are exclusions of the right to erasure. The general exclusions include where processing is necessary: for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information; for compliance with a legal obligation; or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
In some circumstances you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. Those circumstances are: you contest the accuracy of the personal data; processing is unlawful but you oppose erasure; we no longer need the personal data for the purposes of our processing, but you require personal data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; and you have objected to processing, pending the verification of that objection. Where processing has been restricted on this basis, we may continue to store your personal data. However, we will only otherwise process it: with your consent; for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person; or for reasons of important public interest.
You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation, but only to the extent that the legal basis for the processing is that the processing is necessary for: the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of any official authority vested in us; or the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or by a third party. If you make such an objection, we will cease to process the personal information unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes (including profiling for direct marketing purposes). If you make such an objection, we will cease to process your personal data for this purpose.
You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data for scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes on grounds relating to your particular situation, unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out for reasons of public interest.
To the extent that the legal basis for our processing of your personal data is:
  • consent; or
  • that the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract,
and such processing is carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your personal data from us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. However, this right does not apply where it would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
If you consider that our processing of your personal information infringes data protection laws, you have a legal right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority responsible for data protection. You may do so in the EU member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
To the extent that the legal basis for our processing of your personal information is consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
You may exercise any of your rights in relation to your personal data by written notice to us.

Introduction to UM.KC.Hello and welcome to Universal Ministries of the King’s College. Here at UM.KC. We believe that people are worthy of respect, support, and caring simply because they are human. Whilst we do not endorse any one particular faith over another we strongly promote the spiritual growth of the human race. Regardless of our own personal believe we should be tolerant and receive people of other faiths without prejudice. No one ministry is more important than another. We believe that our job as ministers of faith should be to promote our faith to benefit the whole of mankind. We want to work towards a culture that is free from discrimination on the basis of gender, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, physical disability, language, age, body shape, etc. We believe we must have the ability to educate, as well as the ability to receive education and tuition from one another. We all want to have happy and satisfying lives and we strongly believe that education is one of the paths that can lead us to achieve this goal. Universal Ministries of The King’s College (UMKC)Exodus 15:18 "The LORD reigns forever and ever."Archbishop Professor Noppadol Konkam PhD
The Universal Ministries is a nondenominational church founded in the truth of accepting the rights of all to follow their own personal beliefs without our intervention. We uphold the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America, and the right of the individual to legally worship as they please. We uphold the Federal law that provides each church with the inalienable right to establish legal clergy and to appoint legal ministers within that establishment.
The Universal Ministries will ordain anyone that requests ordination within our Doctrines and Church Articles. Requests may be made online or through postal mail with actual ordination being granted through the Milford, Illinois church, though you do not have to be present as you grant us your permission to hold a defector ceremony on your behalf, followed by an electronic return proclamation email to all that provide an email address. Requests within our articles and doctrines will be honored, and you will be ordained within them. Ordination is the right of all legal churches to establish within the doctrines and bylaws of the church and is not limited only to the opinions of some churches as to whom can be ordained. All ministers of legal churches have the same authority in the laws of this nation. In 1517, Martin Luther stated that all men (women included today) have the God-given right to Baptize and are therefore as well of the priesthood of God. Jesus said that all that accept him are of His priesthood. Buddha shared that all that become enlightened have found God. All paths share God's acceptance and Love that we may all serve in faith.
We founded the Universal Ministries independently of other churches in order to be a truly independent nondenominational church with non-denominational ordination that complies with the laws of all States. With members sharing in several denominations and faiths we created the Universal Ministries to encompass all beliefs, and invite all members to contribute to our weekly sermons and programs. We build this church through our spiritual sharing, that others may find the wonders of religious enlightenment.
The Doctrine of this Ministry that we "Do what is right, live fruitful lives, be true to ourselves and the God each of our worship, while causing no harm to others, and accept the individual's right to worship as they see fit within the laws of their respective countries."
Through the expansion of our current and future membership we will share the beliefs of many forms of enlightenment. We invite not just Christians, but the Jewish, Islamic Moslems, Hindus, Buddhists, Episcopalians, Baptists, Catholics, Quakers, Methodists, Presbyterians, Wiccans, Pagans, Bahai, and all others to join us in our individual search for enlightenment.
We acknowledge that spiritual growth comes from finding the truth in our individual ways throughout life. Each of us must find our own Holy Grail. Through our Statement of Faith, our Articles of Association, the doctrines of this church, and our desire to share, the Universal Ministries is willing to share with everyone that wishes the benefits of our organization.
Statement of Faith
We acknowledge that spiritual growth comes from finding the truth in our individual ways throughout life and accepting ordination to better serve. Each of us must find our own Holy Grail. Through this statement of our faith the Universal Ministries willing share with everyone that wishes, to ordain with us and the benefits of our organization.
1. We believe in a non-hierarchical, non-denominational form of Church organization where the ministries are independent affiliates of the whole, building and expanding the various faiths of God here on earth. There is only one authority of the Church, to serve man as a source to higher deity. No one ministry is more important than another, as we are co-laborers working together as we fulfill our life destinies in ministry together.
2. We believe all ministries should receive one another without prejudice or opinion, but with openness of beliefs and the desire to pass forward faith as persons of goodwill serving a higher purpose.
3. We believe we should not only be accountable to God, but also to one another in our works and beliefs of this world and the next.
4. We believe we must have the ability to instruct, as well as the ability to receive teaching and instruction from one another. As humanity seeks the unattainable knowledge of wisdom and God, no man shall know the complete revelation of either, yet must seek both if we are to mature spiritually. No revelation is greater than the last, yet each revelation will build from the last to the next, bringing greater clarity of the things which are to come.
5. We believe as ministers that we are not to condemn others, but to lead others through compassion and love, and to receive correction when it is given in compassion and love. We must be able to confess our sins to one another without fear of condemnation. We realize we are human and are bound to make mistakes, yet it is through faith, knowledge and spiritual awareness that we learn from those mistakes, which helps us to grow into the fullness of God's high calling.
6. We believe that as ministers we must come to the aid and defense of other ministries that all may serve a higher purpose. We dare not turn our backs on humanity and mans' work when in need just as we dare not turn our backs to God's work. We work to overcome the challenges, which lay before each of us.
7. We believe we fulfill a position in spiritual faith as we serve God in this world, which is a position of servant leadership. Our destiny is to serve with compassion, love and spiritual faith of our beliefs, remembering to always bring comfort, aid and encouragement to all that come to us for help. We are to heal, give shelter, feed the hungry and to preach the Word of the God we worship. Through the unity of believing and working in the miraculous of the spirit, we pass onward the faith as shared to each of us.
8. We believe that as ministers we are to love one another as we serve all in faith and spiritual fulfillment. Religiousness is a state of personal progression in God and not simply a place in mans' church. We serve man through God as God's servants. Earned DegreesBachelors Masters Doctorate

Degree structureUMKC awards the Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate (PhD) degrees. The Bachelor’s programs take approximately three years; a Master’s degree takes additional one or two years of full-time study. Earning a Doctorate takes at least two or three years of study and consists of independent and original research under the supervision of a professor.
Modes of studyClasses at UMKC are in different modes depending on suitability to achieve aim of subjects. There are four modes of classes:
1. Self-studied. Classes with descriptive content will be delivered as self-studied materials with tutorial sessions. Students can study subjects with this nature on their own through several types of materials such as printed textbooks, downloads, and recorded lectures. Most foundation subjects are self-studied. Students have to study designated materials, complete assignments, and challenge the examination. While having questions, they can leave messages to class administrators and web-board to get back to them. Forms of materials used at UMKC:•Downloadable E-books•Streaming E-learning MP4 or MP3•Printed textbooks•CD•Email with text and documentary files•Postal mail for Correspondences
2. Interactions. Classes needing instant interaction such as seminar will be in either form of real meeting in the physical rooms or in virtual ones where moderators and participants can share information immediately. Selected virtual classrooms used by UMKC are as listed here:•WIZIQ (http://www.wiziq.com)•Webinar Jam (http://www.webinarjam.com)•Thai Internet Class (http://www.thaiinternetclass.net)•www.ustream.tv•www.oovoo.com
3. Close demonstration and practice. This mode of study is applied to classes requiring students to attend classes in person as the presence is crucial such as laboratory. Locations of practice will be provided to students for most convenient access in their own country (if possible).
4. Project or research. Students have no need to attend this type of class. It is required they consult their advisor through UMKC’s VDO chat room to accomplish the task. The interaction may be required to present the result.
5. Educational systemUMKC uses a self-paced system and accumulation of subject-group accomplishment. In any program, there are certain groups of subjects for students to complete. They are arranged in consequence for students to follow.
Degree level Consequent group of subjects to complete Bachelor • Foundation• Core • Major and Minor • Practices (if any)• Project: seminar or individual studyMaster • Coursework• Practices (if any)• Project or thesisDoctorate • Coursework• Project or thesis
Each group of subjects contains certain number of subjects. The students must complete all subjects within a subject group before continuing to another. The system is designed to be flexible to most environments of learners; they can enter the course at any time of year. By registering to a self-studied and project mode, they can start studying immediately. Examination will be opened to challenge them frequently during the year (at least every two month) at nearest convenient places designated by UMKC. Project and thesis usually ranks the last step before the completion of degree, appointment of advisors to students can be done individually to launch the class. For classes with interaction or practice, it opens for registration all year-round. However, some classes may need certain number of students to attend before it can begin.
Credit system and gradingMost classes at UMKC contain three credits. A class with one credit expects students to devote approximately 15 hours of their time to the study. They can start from provided materials and make their own additional research to complete assignment(s). The aims of study at different degree level control the assessment of accomplishment:• Bachelor degree – a student must demonstrate their understanding of existing knowledge or findings and express their own opinion towards them.• Master degree – a student must use the existing knowledge or findings as a base to test their opinion or assumption if it is acceptable.• Doctorate degree – a student must contribute new knowledge or finding to the world.
Assessment system at UMKC is double-checked method. While examination can be done through online device with invigilation, UMKC reserves the right to ask students already passing the exam to attend oral examination in order to double-check their work.Grading system at UMKC is as follows:
